In accordance with the ideals of My Foundation to establish public schools taking Islam and broad-minded, on March 11, 1987, lays the Islamic Al-Azhar University Pondok Labu (PIAAPL) marked by the inauguration of the PIAAPL main building by the Minister of education and culture, Prof. Dr. Fuad Hassan. PIAAPL Education Program began with the opening of kindergartens (kindergarten) in July 1987. A year later, in July 1988, the PIAAPL began conducting educational programs for primary level (SD) for class 1 to class 4. On 6 June 1992, based on the decision of the meeting of the Governing Board of the Foundation of my son, the name of the Islamic Al-Azhar University Cottage pumpkin (PIAAIPL) is converted into the Islamic University Al-Izhar Pumpkin Cottage (PIIPL) and inaugurated by Bustanil Arifin h. as the founder of the Foundation for my son.
After the official changed their name, PIIPL began conducting educational programs the first Level secondary school (JSS) marked by the inauguration of the Building the JSS by Prof. Dr. Dipl. Ing. B. j. Habibie in July 1992. Three years later, on August 12, 1995, the Minister of education and culture, Prof. Dr. Wardiman Djojonegoro inaugurated the opening of the General high school education program (HIGH SCHOOL). The start of this HIGH SCHOOL education programs as well as complete the basic education level, organized by the Islamic University Al-Izhar Pondok Labu.
